Our commitment
Wocsom Forwarding Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity, and to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and in our supply chains.
Our business and supply chains
We arrange the sourcing, movement and customs clearance of goods imported into the United Kingdom, working with suppliers, carriers and agents in a number of countries.
Our policies
Our Sourcing Policy sets out how we select and manage suppliers. We expect everyone we work with to comply with the applicable laws on labour and human rights.
Due diligence
We assess suppliers before placing business with them and raise concerns where we see a risk. We do not knowingly work with any supplier that uses forced, bonded or child labour.
Awareness
Our team is made aware of the risks of modern slavery in international supply chains and of how to raise a concern.
This statement
This statement is made voluntarily and will be reviewed and updated from time to time.
Review: A formal statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 is legally required only for organisations with annual turnover of £36m or more. Many smaller businesses publish a voluntary statement as an ethical signal. Confirm Wocsom wants to publish this, that the wording reflects actual practice, and add director approval and a date before it goes live.
